Margaret E. Louis obituary

Margaret E. Louis, 92, of Minonk died at 5:35 p.m. Tuesday (March 4, 2003) at BroMenn Regional Medical Center, Normal.

There will be a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Patrick's Catholic Church. The Rev. Dan Wilder will officiate. Burial will follow in St. Patrick's Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at Calvert & Froelich Memorial Home, Minonk, where a parish rosary will be recited at 7 p.m.

Memorials may be made to St. Patrick's Altar and Rosary Society or St. Jude's Midwest Affiliate.

Miss Louis was born March 24, 1910, in Woodford, a daughter of Otto P. and Wilhelmina Fehring Louis.

She is survived by three nieces, Margaret A. Louis, Henderson, Nev.; Angela Louis and Carolyn Alaksiewicz, both of Peoria; three nephews, Jack O'Connell, Pekin; Louis O'Connell, Vernona; and Thomas O'Connell, Morton; and a number of great-nieces and great-nephews.

Miss Louis was preceded in death by four brothers, four sisters, four infant siblings and a nephew.

Miss Louis was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church and the Altar and Rosary Society of the church. She was employed for several years by the former Minonk State Bank.
